“Reflections Of Driving Through The Countryside”

This was one of the few times that I got to be the passenger and I started to notice the trees flying by the as we headed down the highway. Since I was coming home from the hospital after knee surgery, I didn’t have my camera with me, but I did have the iPhone. This is a combination of 3 different shots I took that day out the window. This is one of those shots that I have been working on for awhile, and now I’m not sure if I like it or not. Would be interesting to get your opinions.

“Out The Window View #1″

Andrea and I were on a drive and she was driving for a change which gave me the opportunity to do some shooting with my iPhone out the car window. The up close trees create the motion texture and the trees in the distance remain somewhat sharp to ground the image. Winter trees with motion, one of my favorite subjects.

“Amongst The Trees”

Another iPhone shot from a park in Prague. This one was processed using Focal Point 2 to add the depth of field effect. Most of my shots with the iphone and the Hipstamatic app look so good right out of the phone, that I get lazy and don’t work on them as I usually do. The blur in this effect helps to define the lamp post. I also toned it slightly with another background layer.

“Two Benches And A Rosebush”

Another shot from my favorite little park with my iPhone. This time, I copied the shot and did a blur with Focal Point 2 to combine with the original. This will be a 7×7 print. Even though I have printed my iPhone photos up to 20×20 with enough texture, I’ve decided to keep the Prague series small and intimate.
