I was mowing the lawn today and I noticed these trees growing thru our asphalt driveway! I did a few rounds around the yard each time looking at the spot until the light was right. Then I pulled out my iPhone and took this shot. I used the Hipstamatic app and some post processing as well. I guess I should take care of this problem now that I’ve got the shot.

This was shot in Death Valley. I can’t remember why there was a One Way sign, but it fits. I went light on the processing on this one so as not to mess up the natural texture of the image which is the most important part.

This image is from the storm clouds that were in the area Saturday night. I was on my way to pick up some food and as usual I had my camera with me and when I noticed what was about to happen in the sky, I found a big open parking lot. I got quite a few shots before the light went away.

Well, I was working on an image tonight and it wasn”t quite working, so I went another direction. I threw away some layers and this image started to come to life.
This image is from a trip to Yellowstone Park. The fires where bad that year, but it did make for some unusual shots. This one is a double exposure to make the image more abstract.
Here is a portrait I did today of a good friend. I told her she needed a new face book picture.
This is a rework of one of my client portraits. The original was a large 36×36 print mounted on wood with encaustic wax as the coating.
